What Is Selfic Jewelry?
Selfic jewelry is unlike any other kind of ornament. Created according to the Damanhurian science of Selfica — developed by Oberto Airaudi (Falco Tarassaco) beginning in the 1970s — these objects are designed not merely to adorn but to actively function as energy tools for their wearers.
The word "Selfica" derives from "self" — referring to the self-structuring, self-organizing quality of the energy patterns these forms are designed to attract and hold. The geometries, metals, and specific forms used are chosen according to principles worked out through decades of research and experimentation.
Each Selfic jewelry piece is handcrafted by trained Selfic artisans at Damanhur, made to precise specifications, and charged in ceremony before leaving the community. No two pieces are identical — even within a pattern series, each object has its own unique character.

Custom commissions take 4–8 weeks from acceptance. The artisan may request a consultation (video call) to better understand your needs before beginning the work.
Consultation
For complex commissions, a 30-minute video consultation with a Selfic artisan may be arranged before design begins. This is recommended for all personal-use objects.
International Commissions
We accept commissions from anywhere in the world. Completed objects are shipped with full insurance and tracking. Each commission includes a certificate of authenticity and care instructions.
Care & Charging Instructions
Selfic objects are living energy tools — they require care, attention, and periodic recharging to maintain their vitality. Here is what Damanhur recommends for those who receive Selfic jewelry.
Monthly Moonbath
Place your Selfic object outside or on a windowsill during the full moon — even for a few hours. The lunar energy helps reset and strengthen the object's Selfic charge.
Water Cleansing
Rinse metal Selfic pieces under running cold water for 30 seconds every two weeks — this clears accumulated energetic residue. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not use soap or chemicals.
Plant Contact
Placing your Selfic object on the soil near a healthy plant — or resting it against a tree trunk — for a few hours is a powerful recharging method, particularly for pieces using the plant-connection function.
Sunlight Activation
Short exposure to direct sunlight (15–30 minutes) activates and energizes most Selfic pieces. Avoid prolonged exposure to prevent discoloration of plated metals.
Intentional Handling
Hold your Selfic object in your hands during meditation or quiet time, with clear intention about what you are asking of it. This conscious interaction is itself a form of recharging.

Recalibration Service
If your Selfic object has been significantly depleted or disturbed, you may send it back to Damanhur for professional recalibration. The service takes 2–3 weeks and costs €35 plus return shipping.
