At Damanhur, the calendar is approached as a form of precision instrument. For over fifty years, the community has tracked the deep rhythms of planetary movement, seasonal shift, and cosmic alignment — not as metaphor, but as operational reality.
The solstices and equinoxes are not merely astronomical events but doors in time when the quality of consciousness shifts measurably. The Oracle ceremonies, held four times yearly, synchronize personal intention with collective will at moments when such synchronization carries unusual potency.
The Damanhurian year is structured around eight primary festivals, each one an opportunity to consciously engage with a specific quality of the season: beginning, expansion, consolidation, harvest, deepening, darkness, return, renewal. Visitors who arrive at these moments find themselves part of something ancient and alive.
Whether you attend a single workshop or map your year around Damanhur's ritual calendar, you are engaging with a tradition of intentional relationship with time that has no parallel in the modern world.

Every event at Damanhur has limited capacity to ensure genuine experience. Advance booking is always recommended; Oracle ceremonies sell out weeks ahead.
Contact Us Directly
Write to welcome@damanhur.org with your chosen event, dates, and party size. The welcome team responds within 48 hours to confirm availability and provide the full programme details.
Receive Your Confirmation
We will send a full event information pack: what to bring, where to arrive, travel directions from Turin and Milan, and a pre-visit reading list to help you get the most from your time.
Arrive & Begin
Check in at the Welcome Centre in Vidracco. Your guide will meet you, orient you to the site, and begin your experience. For ceremony dates, participants should arrive by early afternoon the day before.
Policies
Cancellation & Practical Information
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation terms are:
- More than 30 days before: full refund or credit
- 15–30 days before: 50% refund or full credit for a future event
- 8–14 days before: credit only for a future event within 12 months
- 7 days or fewer: non-refundable, but transferable to another person
For programmes of 5+ days, please contact us to discuss specific arrangements.
What Is Included
Event pricing typically includes:
- All facilitated sessions, ceremonies, or workshops
- Communal meals during the event
- Temple entry where applicable
- Guided walks and orientation
Accommodation for multi-day events is available on-site or in the village. Please specify when booking. Transport from Turin is not included but we provide detailed directions and coordinate shared transport where possible.
