Selfic Objects
Each selfic object is handcrafted by Damanhurian artisans using copper spirals, noble metals, and concentrated organic substances — creating forms that are not merely beautiful but energetically alive and purposeful.
A Complete Taxonomy
Selfic objects fall into distinct categories based on their function, scale, and method of use. From jewellery worn on the body to architectural installations weighing hundreds of tons — each type serves a specific energetic purpose.
Personal Wearable
Rings, pendants, bracelets, and earrings crafted in copper and noble metals. Designed to be in continuous contact with the wearer's body, building and sustaining a personal energetic relationship over years.
PersonalArchitectural
Large-scale selfic circuits integrated into the structure of buildings and sacred spaces. The Temples of Humankind contain the world's most extensive architectural selfic installation — 300+ tons woven through walls, floors, and ceilings.
StructuralHousehold Environmental
Objects designed to influence the energetic quality of a room or space rather than a specific person. Placed in living rooms, bedrooms, studios, and meditation spaces to create sustained environmental selfic fields.
EnvironmentalHorticultural
Selfic forms designed for placement near plants and in gardens. Community research consistently shows improved plant vitality, growth rate, and disease resistance in selfic-enriched growing environments.
BotanicalWater Selfic
Objects designed to be placed in or near water — for drinking water, baths, and natural water features. Based on the hypothesis that water serves as a medium for subtle energetic information that selfica can encode.
ElementalRitual & Ceremonial
Special-purpose selfic objects created for use in ceremonies, initiations, and group meditation. Not available for personal purchase — these are made for and remain within the Damanhur community's ritual practice.
SacredWearable Selfic Art
Our jewellery collection represents 50 years of selfic craftsmanship. Each piece is individually handcrafted, energetically activated, and designed to develop a unique relationship with its wearer. No two pieces are identical.
Selfica at Monumental Scale
The most extraordinary application of selfic science is the architectural integration visible in the Temples of Humankind. From 1989 onward, Damanhurian builders incorporated selfic circuitry directly into the Temple structure — not as decoration but as functional infrastructure for an energetic system of unprecedented scale.
Copper spirals are woven through the reinforced concrete of walls and floors. Larger selfic forms — some several meters in diameter — are positioned at energetic nexus points throughout the five-level structure. The entire complex functions as a single integrated selfic system.
Visitors to the Temples consistently report intense energetic and emotional experiences that researchers partially attribute to the selfic environment. The combination of extraordinary art, sacred geometry, and selfic circuitry creates an environmental effect that is qualitatively different from any other space on Earth.
Commission Architectural Selfica
Damanhur accepts commissions for architectural selfic installations in private homes, wellness centres, yoga studios, and other sacred or creative spaces. Each commission begins with a detailed consultation to understand the space's purpose and the client's intentions.
Request a ConsultationSelfica for Everyday Life
Beyond jewellery, Damanhur produces a range of selfic objects for specific everyday applications — objects designed to be integrated into sleeping spaces, workplaces, meditation practices, and daily routines.
Sleep Selfic
A specially shaped selfic object for placement under the mattress or beside the bed. Designed to support deeper, more restful sleep and enhance the vividness of dream experiences. The blind trial study found this to be among the most consistently effective selfic applications.
Creativity Selfic
A desktop selfic object for artists, writers, musicians, and other creative practitioners. Positioned in the workspace, it creates a sustained energetic field associated with creative flow states and reduced creative inhibition.
Meditation Selfic
A portable selfic object for use during meditation practice. Held in the hands or placed before the practitioner, it is reported to facilitate faster induction of meditative states and deeper experiences of stillness and inner awareness.
Plant Companion Selfic
A small copper spiral designed for placement near plant root zones. Community gardeners using this report consistently improved plant health — correlating with the laboratory research on plant bioelectrical activity in selfic environments.
Water Selfic
A selfic object designed to be placed in or near drinking water for extended periods. Based on the hypothesis — supported by the water crystallisation study — that selfic objects can encode beneficial energetic information into water.
Animal Companion Selfic
Small wearable selfic objects designed for cats, dogs, and other companion animals. Animal owners using these report greater calmness, reduced anxiety behaviours, and improved overall vitality in their animals.
Caring for Your Selfic
Selfic objects require simple but specific care to maintain and develop their energetic properties. Unlike ordinary copper objects, selfic forms should be treated as living energetic entities — respected, maintained, and understood as partners in your practice.
Cleaning
Clean selfic copper with a soft cloth, lightly dampened with pure water. Do not use chemical cleaners, polishes, or abrasives. Natural oxidation (patina) on copper is not a problem — it does not affect selfic function and some researchers believe it enhances it. Clean silver elements with a dry silver cloth only.
Recharging
Place your selfic object outdoors on clear nights under moonlight or starlight for 4–6 hours. This is recommended once monthly. Some practitioners find that placing selfic objects on natural stone (granite or quartz) during recharging enhances the effect. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods.
Sharing
Personal selfic objects should not be shared with others, as they develop a specific energetic relationship with their primary user over time. Environmental or household selfic objects may be shared with family members who live in the same space. If you wish to gift a selfic, purchase a new one rather than giving your own.
Storage
When not in use, wrap your selfic in natural materials — silk, linen, or wool. Avoid storing selfic objects in synthetic materials or metal containers. Do not store selfic objects touching electronic devices for extended periods. A dedicated wooden or stone box is ideal for long-term storage.
Repair
If a selfic object is damaged — a spiral bent, a seal broken — do not attempt to repair it yourself. Return it to Damanhur for assessment. In some cases repair is possible; in others a selfic object that has been structurally compromised cannot be restored and should be respectfully returned to the earth.
Finding the Right Object
Choosing a selfic object is not like buying jewellery. The best selfic for you is the one that resonates with your specific needs, temperament, and energetic constitution. Here is our guidance for making a meaningful choice.
Clarify Your Intention
Begin by articulating clearly what you hope a selfic object will support in your life. Focus? Calm? Creativity? Sleep? The clearer your intention, the more precisely a selfic can be chosen or crafted for you. Vague intentions produce vague results.
Trust Physical Response
When visiting Damanhur's selfic studio, hold different objects before purchasing. Pay attention to immediate physical responses — warmth, tingling, a sense of weight or lightness, changes in breathing. These are often reliable guides to selfic compatibility.
Consider the Time Horizon
Simple selfic objects develop their properties relatively quickly — weeks to months. Complex multi-spiral objects or large environmental selfica may take years to reach their full potential. Choose a level of complexity appropriate to your commitment.
Consult a Selfic Artist
For a personalised selfic, a consultation with one of Damanhur's selfic artisans is invaluable. They will assess your energetic profile, discuss your needs, and create or select a selfic specifically calibrated to your personal constitution.
Begin with Simplicity
If you are new to Selfica, begin with a simple single-spiral pendant or ring before investing in complex personal shield objects. Build your relationship with selfic gradually, developing the perceptual sensitivity needed to notice and work with its effects.
Maintain a Journal
Keep a detailed record of your experiences with a new selfic object — noting mood, sleep quality, creative output, physical sensations, and dreams in the weeks and months after acquiring it. Patterns often emerge that reveal the selfic's specific influence on your life.
