The Global Network
What began as a single community in Valchiusella has grown into a worldwide network of affiliated communities, study groups, practitioners, and friends — all connected by shared values and ongoing collaboration.
Damanhur's global expansion was never planned through central strategy. Rather, it grew organically as people who visited Damanhur were so transformed by what they experienced that they wanted to create similar communities near their own homes. Damanhur supported these initiatives with training, visits from senior citizens, and the sharing of its governance models and spiritual practices.
The network today ranges from full residential communities modeled closely on Damanhur, to smaller study groups meeting regularly to explore Damanhurian philosophy, to individual practitioners incorporating Damanhurian practices into their lives while living in mainstream society.
The Federation maintains formal relationships with affiliated communities through annual gatherings, online programs, and mutual support agreements. Each affiliated community maintains full autonomy — there is no central authority that dictates how they must govern themselves or practice spirituality.

European Communities
The strongest nodes of the Damanhur network are in Europe, where cultural proximity and geographic closeness to the mother community have allowed deep, ongoing relationships to develop over decades.
Italy — Multiple Sites
Beyond the main community in Valchiusella, Damanhur has affiliated groups throughout northern and central Italy. The closest Italian affiliates participate regularly in main community ceremonies and governance councils.
Germany — Damanhur Berlin
Germany hosts Damanhur's most active European affiliate outside Italy. The Berlin center runs a full program of esoteric classes, workshops, and community events. A small residential community near Munich maintains deep ties with the mother community.
France — Réseau Damanhur
France has a robust network of study groups and a formal Damanhur center in Paris. French citizens have been visiting Damanhur in organized groups since the 1990s, and several French-speaking citizens live within the main community.
United Kingdom — Damanhur UK
The UK network includes a London center and study groups across England, Scotland, and Wales. Annual visits to Damanhur are organized from the UK, and several British citizens are full community members in Valchiusella.
Netherlands — Harmonie
The Dutch network is notable for its strong focus on plant communication research, inspired by Damanhur's plant music program. Several Dutch researchers have collaborated with Damanhur scientists on botanical consciousness studies.
Spain — Damanhur España
Spain's vibrant spiritual culture has been a fertile ground for Damanhurian ideas. The Barcelona center hosts regular workshops and has co-organized several large events bringing Italian and Spanish community members together.

United States — Damanhur USA
The United States has Damanhur's most developed non-European network. California hosts two affiliated intentional communities and several study groups. The annual "Damanhur in America" gathering brings together hundreds of practitioners for a weekend of ceremony, teaching, and community building.
Canada — Cercle Damanhur
Canadian affiliates are active in both English-speaking and French-speaking communities. The Montréal group has developed a particularly rich program of Damanhurian arts workshops, while the Vancouver group focuses on ecological and indigenous connections with Damanhurian earth philosophy.
Brazil — Rede Damanhur
Brazil's rich spiritual culture and history of intentional communities has made it highly receptive to Damanhurian ideas. The Brazilian network has grown rapidly and has developed strong exchanges with the mother community, including annual youth exchange programs.
Argentina — Red Damanhur
Argentina's deeply spiritual seekers have found much resonance with Damanhurian philosophy. The Buenos Aires center offers a full program of esoteric classes and has co-produced several Damanhurian cultural events with Italian and Brazilian affiliates.

Asia-Pacific Connections
The Asia-Pacific region represents Damanhur's newest and most rapidly growing sphere of connection — drawn by shared interests in consciousness research, sacred architecture, and alternative community models.
Japan — Damanhur Japan
Japan's rich tradition of sacred craftsmanship and deep aesthetic culture has created natural affinity with Damanhur's art-infused spirituality. The Tokyo group has organized several delegations of Japanese architects and artists to visit the Temples of Humankind.
Australia — Damanhur Oceania
Australia's intentional community culture provided ready ground for Damanhurian ideas. The Byron Bay region hosts several community members who visited Damanhur and chose to begin experiments in communal living inspired by what they experienced.
India — Damanhur India
India's extraordinary depth of spiritual tradition intersects richly with Damanhurian research. The connections with Auroville — itself a famous intentional community — have been particularly fruitful, producing joint publications and mutual exchange visits.

Online Community
Damanhur's online community has grown dramatically, offering people around the world access to teachings, ceremonies, and connection that were previously only available in person in the Italian Alps.
Digital Programs
The COVID-19 pandemic, while challenging for the physical community, catalyzed a significant expansion of Damanhur's online presence. What began as necessity became a genuine expansion of reach — reaching thousands of people who would never be able to travel to Italy.
The online Esoteric School now offers a substantial portion of its curriculum in digital format, with live video classes, recorded teachings, and virtual ceremonies. While the in-person experience remains irreplaceable, the digital offering gives people everywhere access to Damanhurian wisdom.
Online communities have also created new forms of Damanhurian social connection — virtual nucleos meeting weekly, international dream research groups, and cross-continental study circles exploring synchronic lines through shared mapping and meditation.

Representatives of all European affiliated communities gather annually for governance, shared projects, and cultural exchange. Each year a different country hosts, introducing their local Damanhurian flavor to the wider European network.
Online Global Ceremony

Four times a year at the great seasonal transitions, the entire global network joins a single online ceremony streamed live from Damanhur's Temples. Thousands of people across dozens of time zones experience the ceremony simultaneously.
