How Plants
Become Music

The device measures micro-voltage electromagnetic variations between a plant's leaf surface and root system — completely natural bioelectrical signals translated into MIDI sound in real time.

Over months, individual plants develop recognisable musical styles — characteristic rhythmic patterns and signature responses to human presence. Performers and researchers document these as distinct personalities.

The bioelectrical signal-to-MIDI conversion device is formally patented. The measurement is real and verified. The interpretation as "plant consciousness" or intentional communication is Damanhurian belief — not yet verified by peer-reviewed plant biology. The music is undeniably real.

The Sacred Woods are laid out by geomantic survey — stone circuits and path alignments follow the earth energy lines of the Valchiusella valley itself.

Flower of Life Grid
Seven interlocking circles marking the seven major earth-energy nodes — the primary geomantic pattern of the central stone circuit, mapped over five decades.

The €140 One Day Visit includes the Sacred Woods tour, a Music of Plants concert at dusk, organic lunch and dinner, and all nine underground halls. The most complete Damanhur day available.

Yes — the Sacred Woods are available as a standalone experience. Forest visits without the Temples are possible by arrangement. The One Day Visit (€140) includes both experiences plus meals.
Electrodes connect to a leaf and a root sensor. The device reads micro-voltage variations and converts them to MIDI notes via a real-time algorithm. The plant plays through speakers. Musicians sometimes improvise alongside.
