Symbolic
Programme

Where many halls deal with cosmic forces or elemental powers, the Hall of Victory is explicitly about human beings — their capacity for joy, creativity, and triumph over limitation. The upward-thrusting columns end in golden capitals. The ceiling mosaic depicts human figures in postures of celebration and expansion. Visitors frequently describe the hall as unexpectedly uplifting — a quality that guides confirm is not accidental. The symbolic programme is about arrival, not striving.

Construction Note

One of the later-completed halls, constructed primarily in the 1990s after the community had developed substantial technical skill in underground mosaic work.

About This
Hall

The symbolic programme, spatial proportions, and colour palette are all deliberately oriented to produce an experience of expansion and possibility. The upward-thrust columns, golden palette, and celebration iconography operate at a non-rational level that most visitors register before their guide explains it.
Human figures in postures of joy, expansion, and completion — not heroic struggle, but its outcome. The sequence reads from the centre outward, moving from individual realisation to collective celebration.
No — it is included in the Classical Visit (€78) and all higher visit types. The 4 Halls Quick Tour (€55) covers the four primary halls only.
All guides speak Italian. English, German, and French are available — specify at booking. Private tours in other languages can be arranged with advance notice.
The guided tour moves as a group. Individual backtracking is not possible during the standard visit. If you have a specific wish to spend more time in a particular hall, mention this to your guide at the start — some flexibility is possible in smaller groups.
