Damanhur is located in the Valchiusella valley, 50km north of Turin in the Canavese area of Piedmont, Italy. Free on-site parking. Nearest train station: Ivrea (10km).

By Car from Turin
A5 motorway direction Aosta. Exit Ivrea. Follow SS26 direction Aosta, then left at Borgofranco d'Ivrea. Total: ~45 min from Turin, ~2hrs from Milan.

By Train
Turin Porta Susa → Ivrea (Trenitalia, 35 min). From Ivrea: taxi to Vidracco (~10km, ~€20), or limited bus service. Inform us of your arrival — we can arrange pickup for groups.

By Air
Turin Airport (TRN) — 65km, ~55 min by car. Milan Malpensa (MXP) — 120km, ~90 min. We recommend hiring a car — public transport from airports to Vidracco requires 2–3 connections.

FAQ

For June–August: book at least 4 weeks in advance. For other months: 2 weeks is usually sufficient. For ceremonies (equinoxes, solstices): 6–8 weeks recommended. For New Life 2.0 and EDE: book 3–6 months in advance.
Walk-in visits are occasionally possible but not reliable. We strongly recommend booking in advance to guarantee your preferred date, language, and experience type.
Group pricing is available for 10+ people. Contact welcome@dhwelcome.org with group size, preferred date, and experience for a group quote.
For day visits: full refund if cancelled 48+ hours in advance. For residency programmes: deposit (€400–600) is non-refundable after place confirmation. Balance is refundable up to 4 weeks before start date.
The above-ground Welcome Center and shop are fully accessible. Underground temple access is limited due to uneven terrain and low passages. Contact us in advance to discuss your specific requirements.
Bank transfer, major credit cards, and cash (Euro). Payment instructions provided with booking confirmation.
